Responsibilities

• Own critical data infrastructure by turning complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions for ingesting and serving financial datasets.
• Architect highly scalable, cost-effective data processing pipelines for millions of documents with low latency.
• Build systems that integrate heterogeneous financial datasets from market vendors and proprietary sources into queryable platforms.
• Partner with the Core AI team to ensure data is structured and served to maximize model performance.
• Build secure, compliant integrations to handle enterprise customer data with the highest standards of privacy.
• Lead by example through high-quality code, technical decision-making, and fostering a culture of ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building data-intensive backend systems.
• 5+ years of experience with GCP or equivalent cloud stacks.
• Deep expertise in Python and proficiency in a strongly typed language (Rust, C++, or Java).
• Mastery of large-scale distributed systems, including asynchronous patterns, streaming, and caching.
• Strong command of relational databases (SQL), NoSQL, and columnar stores like BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Proven experience operating large-scale streaming and batch data pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience working with or managing globally distributed engineering teams.
• Demonstrated passion for corporate finance and capital markets.
