Staff Backend Engineer

Endor Labs is building the Application Security platform for the software development revolution. We solve the challenge of complex, dependency-rich software by building a call graph of your entire software estate, enabling teams to identify and fix critical risks faster.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build core backend infrastructure for SaaS products
• Lead and contribute to large-scale technical projects ensuring scalability and reliability
• Design and build features end-to-end in collaboration with Product Management
• Drive innovation and make critical architectural decisions
• Mentor and coach team members to promote best practices and continuous learning
• Utilize observability best practices to ensure high platform availability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 10+ years of experience building scalable backends for SaaS companies
• 3+ years of experience in Golang with a focus on microservices/distributed architecture
• Practical experience designing APIs (gRPC, REST, GraphQL, or Thrift)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, domain-driven design, and load balancing
• Strong knowledge of data structures and scalable architecture
• Proven ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and solve root causes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements
