Staff Applied Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop ML and deep learning-based models end-to-end to support various forecasting needs throughout the advertising campaign lifecycle
• Manage signal collection, feature construction, model evaluation, and monitoring
• Collaborate with engineering teams on signal collection pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Partner with downstream teams to understand forecasting requirements and design appropriate models
• Design offline and online model success metrics and use data to drive iterative model improvements

Requirements

• BS/MS with 8+ years of experience or a PhD with 6+ years of experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning role
• Proficiency in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) with a strong understanding of statistics
• Hands-on experience building and deploying large-scale deep learning models
• Proven expertise in the forecasting domain
• Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience running heavy workloads on distributed computing clusters (e.g., EMR, Databricks) and leveraging Spark for large datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Spark skills
• Knowledge of privacy-safe measurement and data storage
