Staff Applied AI Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, ship, and operate production-grade agentic systems for patient health challenges
• Partner with data scientists to implement evaluation pipelines, security guardrails, and metrics
• Validate hypotheses using offline evaluation datasets and A/B testing
• Develop core agentic capabilities including memory, reasoning orchestration, and tool adapters
• Own performance, observability, and security through monitoring dashboards and SLO/SLIs
• Ensure privacy and security by design
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives shaping the AI platform

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Significant experience using Python
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of an AI product at scale
• Strong understanding of SDLC, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Product-oriented mindset with ability to balance business needs and technical constraints
• Proficiency in English (speaking and writing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic systems in production
• Experience in the medical domain
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
