Staff Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, production-grade agentic systems and AI infrastructure
• Break down ambiguous, function-wide problems into shippable technical architectures
• Own the end-to-end outcome of AI features, from deployment through to business adoption
• Elevate engineering standards through rigorous code reviews and technical documentation
• Bridge the gap between engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure safe and fast deployment
• Balance technical debt with shipping speed to maintain high-quality, reliable systems

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production AI systems at scale
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
• Strong experience with SQL and prompt engineering
• Proven ability to lead through uncertainty and solve complex coordination problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, or Anthropic APIs
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and vector/graph databases
• Experience working in highly regulated financial environments
