Staff Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis and application support for HVAC products to drive business growth in the West US region.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittal documents to ensure compliance with design requirements and industry standards (DOE, AHRI, UL).
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Western Region, supporting sales teams, contractors, and MEP consulting engineers.
• Resolve high-level technical escalations and field performance issues by coordinating with R&D and quality teams.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and "Lunch & Learn" sessions for key accounts and design firms.
• Facilitate seamless communication between the regional field team and HQ using bilingual (Korean/English) skills.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and provide market intelligence to the Product Management team.
• Develop technical sales tools, application guides, and educational content for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or an equivalent technical degree.
• Proven experience in the HVAC industry, specifically within technical sales or application engineering.
• Professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support field activities and HQ training.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet critical project deadlines and urgent sales inquiries.
