Staff AI Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of advanced agentic AI systems including reasoning loops, tool-calling, and multi-agent orchestration
• Build production-grade agent infrastructure including prompts, function tools, and workflow graphs
• Develop rigorous evaluation and safety frameworks including automated testing, benchmarking, and safety guardrails
• Drive LLM and ML model development through training, fine-tuning, and deployment on healthcare datasets
• Shape Medeloop’s agentic AI strategy and roadmap in partnership with leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
• Proven track record building and shipping production agentic AI systems
• Experience working on analytic engines or advanced analytics platforms
• Strong theoretical foundation in ML/AI with emphasis on NLP/LLMs and reinforcement learning
• Deep expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, A2A protocols, Hugging Face, PyTorch, and vector databases
• Experience designing automated evaluation and testing pipelines for autonomous agents
• Builder/experimenter mindset with a passion for rapid prototyping

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong record in top AI/ML conferences or journals
• Experience with healthcare data such as EHRs or claims
• Knowledge of regulatory considerations like HIPAA
• Multi-cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
