Staff AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cutting-edge AI solutions across Voice AI, Computer Vision, and Conversational AI domains
• Architect and build production-grade AI systems to enhance monitoring, analytics, and customer support
• Design and deploy AI-powered solutions to improve experiences for EV drivers and operators worldwide
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable intelligent automation across EV charging infrastructure

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years focused on AI/ML systems in production
• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field from a top-tier institution
• Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, Django, and modern backend frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLM engineering including LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG architectures
• Proficiency with vector databases such as Qdrant, ChromaDB, or Pinecone
• Experience with Elasticsearch, vector search, and semantic retrieval
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven patterns like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Background in Voice AI, telephony integrations, or computer vision architectures
• Experience with data engineering tools like Airflow, DBT, and large-scale datasets (50TB+)
• Knowledge of model fine-tuning techniques like LoRA/QLoRA and RLHF
