Staff AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cutting-edge AI solutions across Voice AI, Computer Vision, and Conversational AI domains
• Architect and build production-grade AI systems to enhance monitoring, analytics, and customer support
• Design and deploy AI-powered solutions to improve experiences for EV drivers and operators worldwide
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable intelligent automation across EV charging infrastructure

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years focused on AI/ML systems in production
• Tech/B.E. or M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, Django, and modern backend frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLM engineering including LangChain, LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock/OpenAI, and RAG architectures
• Strong experience with Elasticsearch, vector databases (Qdrant, ChromaDB, Pinecone), and semantic retrieval
• Proficiency in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Voice AI systems, telephony integrations (Genesys, SIP), and speech processing
• Background in computer vision or visual transformer architectures
• Data engineering experience with Airflow, DBT, and large-scale datasets (50TB+)
• Knowledge of model fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA) and RLHF-style preference tuning
