Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Prepare and post General Ledger journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Support monthly and year-end financial close activities in accordance with US GAAP
• Manage customer invoicing portals and electronic billing requirements
• Coordinate payroll processing with external providers
• Support inventory accounting and intercompany purchasing transactions
• Assist with sales tax, corporate income tax, and personal property tax compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors, CPA firms, and tax advisors
• Support administrative and HR activities including onboarding and expense reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment preferred
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to travel internationally occasionally (e.g., Germany)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP experience (ECC or S/4HANA)
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting and lease accounting
• Experience with inventory accounting and material management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
• Experience in a multinational company environment
