Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for inventory, hardware costs, and fixed assets
• Own balance sheet reconciliations for hardware inventory, fixed assets, and related accruals
• Perform monthly cost accounting analysis, including COGS variance and inventory valuation
• Manage the end-to-end T&E accounting process and reconcile expense platform reports
• Support revenue recognition and journal entry preparation for smaller subsidiaries
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and revenue teams to resolve inventory discrepancies
• Support internal and external audit requests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in technology or hardware industries
• Working knowledge of cost accounting, COGS, and inventory valuation
• Experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in an ERP system
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• High attention to detail and ability to manage close deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to use AI tools like Gemini or Claude for automation

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA candidate or active CPA license
• Experience in SaaS or hardware-enabled technology with multi-entity structures
• Exposure to revenue recognition under ASC 606
