Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform journal entries and reconcile subledgers to the GL
• Compile information for internal accounting, AP, AR, and Cash dashboards
• Prepare supporting schedules for the accounting cycle, cash accounting, and sales & use tax reporting
• Assist with managing the monthly close process and managerial reporting
• Assist with developing improved processes and technical add-ons
• Provide support for annual audits and regulatory reporting
• Prepare insurance reporting to underwriter partners
• Handle cessions and retro reporting for insurance/service contracts
• Validate data between systems and related integrations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum 5 years of GL accounting experience
• Experience with payroll and GAAP
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
• High proficiency in Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
• Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
