About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform journal entries and reconcile subledgers to the GL
- Compile information for internal accounting, AP, AR, and Cash dashboards
- Prepare supporting schedules for the accounting cycle, cash accounting, and sales & use tax reporting
- Assist with managing the monthly close process and managerial reporting
- Assist with developing improved processes and technical add-ons
- Provide support for annual audits and regulatory reporting
- Prepare insurance reporting to underwriter partners
- Handle cessions and retro reporting for insurance/service contracts
- Validate data between systems and related integrations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of GL accounting experience
- Experience with payroll and GAAP
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
- High proficiency in Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
