About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books by preparing and posting journal entries for multiple companies
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Process A/P and A/R transactions with precision and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Utilize advanced software and AI-driven tools to automate routine tasks
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations (HIPAA, CMS guidelines)
Requirements
- 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience in healthcare or a corporate setting preferred
- Ability to manage multiple sets of books
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or Associate’s with relevant experience)
