Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books by preparing and posting journal entries for multiple companies
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process A/P and A/R transactions with precision and regulatory compliance
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Utilize advanced software and AI-driven tools to automate routine tasks
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations (HIPAA, CMS guidelines)

Requirements

• 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Experience in healthcare or a corporate setting preferred
• Ability to manage multiple sets of books
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or Associate’s with relevant experience)
