Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee company accounting activities with a focus on the Accounts Payable department
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, and workflow documentation
• Streamline workflows, automate invoice processing, and enhance internal controls
• Coordinate daily activities of the AP team to ensure financial data integrity in the general ledger and ERP system
• Review financial records, conduct account analyses, and prepare financial statements
• Examine bank account reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• Oversee the expense reimbursement audit process and manage the Concur platform
• Complete month-end close activities, including P&L variance analysis
• Perform annual compliance and year-end closing processes
• Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the AP team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• At least 2 years of accounts payable experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory and people management experience
• Experience leading AP integration efforts for newly acquired entities
• Experience working with high-volume, multi-currency data
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP and BILL.com
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Power BI and Workday
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
