Staff Accountant - Family Office

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions including journal entries, AP, AR, payroll postings, and reconciliations
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with US GAAP
• Support family office accounting tasks such as investment postings, reconciliations, and preparation of capital statements
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect, organize, and validate financial information for reporting
• Provide documentation for audits and respond to information requests
• Participate in the setup of accounting systems and processes for new clients
• Support Seniors and Managers in special projects and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and US GAAP
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing CPA or CMA certification
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting or investment reporting systems
