About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries, including accrual, fixed asset, and payroll entries
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts at month-end
- Maintain fixed assets module and ensure accurate depreciation schedules
- Assist with compliance reporting, including annual external audits, 401k audits, and tax preparation
- Perform financial and administrative tasks as directed by the CFO, Controller, or Assistant Controller
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounting
- Healthcare industry experience
