Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Interpret accounting data, analyze reports, and recommend necessary actions
• Prepare financial reports and schedules to support management review
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are accurately stated through compiled reconciliation procedures
• Enter monthly journal entries with proper documentation to substantiate transactions
• Review financial statements for operating trends and results
• Develop automated Oracle routines for mass allocations and recurring journal entries
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with General Ledger (GL) and accruals
• Strong analytical thinking and variance analysis skills

• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
• Experience with Oracle systems
