Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close process
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct flux analysis
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
• Support preparation and planning for the annual financial statement audit
• Contribute to the development of scalable accounting policies and processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide actionable financial insights

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 0-2 years of accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to leverage AI tools like Claude to improve workflow efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or active progress toward CPA certification
