About the role
Responsibilities
- Review funding and sales related reconciliations of various data points and accounts in the general ledger
- Ensure accuracy of recorded financial transactions and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform daily investor purchase and funding reconciliations
- Manage daily loan fundings including advanced funding schedules and wire disbursements
- Record company card reconciliation and general ledger entries
- Prepare daily cash and warehouse bank reconciliations
- Process wire transfers and accounts payable
- Perform ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage banking experience preferred
- Understanding of GAAP and control requirements for financial services companies
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to produce, administer, and review reconciliation processes
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
