Stabilization Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis support and stabilization services to clients
• Deliver interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, and behavior modeling
• Tailor interventions based on client preferences and clinical direction
• Offer direct support in crisis intervention, stabilization, and treatment planning
• Assist individuals with learning coping strategies and daily living skills
• Complete clinical assessments and required documentation
• Provide short-term case management including assistance with income, insurance, and community resources
• Facilitate warm handoffs with other service providers

Requirements

• Experience working with adults or families with mental illness or substance abuse
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Lived experience with substance use disorder
