Stabilization Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance during initial lease-up and takeover phases
• Ensure accurate processing of tenant verifications and compliance paperwork
• Conduct detailed reviews of lease-up files for program eligibility
• Establish standardized review processes and Quality Assurance checks
• Facilitate weekly compliance check-in calls to monitor workflows
• Upload approved resident files into SharePoint, OneSite/Yardi, and investor platforms
• Update state monitoring databases monthly
• Serve as the primary compliance liaison for file submissions, approvals, and audits
• Implement corrective action plans in response to audit findings

Requirements

• Three years of affordable housing compliance experience
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC and PBRA Section 8 programs
• Recent experience with LIHTC Initial Lease-Ups or Acquisition/Rehab Lease Ups
• COS Certification through NCHM (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel
• Ability to travel 35-40% with little to no notice

Preferred Qualifications

• HCCP, BOS, AHM, or other affordable housing compliance certifications
• Experience with Yardi and/or RealPage/OneSite
• Experience managing people across multiple locations
