About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise field activities permanently during project development
- Guarantee compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
- Prepare, review, and validate Safe Work Analysis (ATS), PETAR, and high-risk work permits
- Conduct daily safety talks and promote a preventive culture
- Execute inspections of PPE, tools, equipment, and work areas
- Verify compliance with Law No. 29783 and other legal requirements
- Identify, manage, and report incidents, acts, and substandard conditions
- Prepare and present daily and weekly SSOMA management reports
Requirements
- Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety
- Experience supervising activities and projects in food industry plants
- Experience in managing and supervising high-risk work
- Knowledge of Law No. 29783 and its regulations
- Experience with high-risk tasks: work at heights, confined spaces, hot work, lifting, and LOTO
- Knowledge of food safety management systems: BPM, HACCP, FSSC 22000, or ISO 22000
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 45001
- Current training in first aid and firefighting
