SSD Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, validate, and optimize storage firmware on embedded multi-core architectures
• Perform system bring-up and BSP development in multi-process environments
• Develop bootloaders and drivers for memory interfaces, IO, and peripherals including PMIC, DDR, Thermal Device, EEPROM, and NAND
• Work with protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, SATA, and NVMe
• Handle RTOS porting and development of system/device power management interfaces
• Develop NVMe/PCIe protocol interfaces
• Support customer design-in and qualification processes

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in firmware development
• Hands-on experience with ARM/ARC or equivalent embedded multi-core microprocessor architectures
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Solid understanding of analyzing complex firmware and identifying controller/hardware issues
• Familiarity with software algorithm development
• Fluent communication skills in both Korean and English
