SRE Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers and SREs to drive innovation and operational excellence
• Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or OCI
• Oversee the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible
• Define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets
• Drive incident management processes, including rapid mitigation and thorough post-mortem analyses
• Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software releases with minimal downtime
• Implement security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scans, and automated patching
• Analyze cloud infrastructure costs and implement optimization strategies to manage budgets effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience managing DevOps or SRE teams in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP)
• Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, etc.)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or ELK stack
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience using managed languages such as Python, Go, C#, or Java
• Experience designing tooling to simplify the operational management of SaaS/PaaS systems
• Experience operating in highly regulated environments (SOC2, ISO 27001)
