SRE Intern

Responsibilities

• Support daily SRE and DevOps operational tasks to ensure system reliability.
• Assist with AWS cost analysis, tagging, compliance, and usage optimization.
• Help manage monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbook improvements.
• Contribute to automation efforts through scripting.
• Perform ad-hoc troubleshooting, log checks, and metrics reporting.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, SOPs, and internal processes.
• Participate in on-call duties on a shift basis to support infrastructure.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Linux and shell commands.
• Basic coding knowledge in Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts, preferably AWS.
• Strong interest in DevOps/SRE practices such as automation, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Good communication skills and a proactive learning mindset.
• Ability to work on-site in Bangalore.

Preferred Qualifications

• An automation-first approach to solving technical bottlenecks and manual toil.
• Strong problem-solving ownership and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
