Sr VP Treasury & Credit

Responsibilities

• Lead the Treasury function, including daily liquidity, cash management, short-term funding, and forecasting
• Oversee global bank relationships and negotiate banking, custody, and financing arrangements
• Develop and maintain robust cash forecasting models and intraday liquidity processes
• Manage counterparty credit risk policies, including credit approvals, limits, monitoring, and remediation
• Own firm-wide funding strategy, including capital allocation, credit lines, and repo arrangements
• Partner with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Legal teams to manage collateral, margin, and capital requirements
• Provide senior oversight of treasury operations, payments, and treasury systems
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of treasury and credit professionals in Sofia
• Report to senior management and the Board on liquidity, funding, and credit exposures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in treasury, treasury operations, or credit risk within investment management or banking
• Proven experience managing bank relationships and negotiating financing arrangements
• Strong knowledge of counterparty credit assessment and limits frameworks
• Operational experience with treasury systems, payment platforms, and accounting interfaces
• Excellent analytical skills and a disciplined control mindset
• Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to develop high-performing teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or professional qualification such as CFA or ACCA
• Experience with ERP or specialized treasury management systems
