About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short-to-mid term volume forecasts for the Mexico transportation network to ensure accurate signals across Last Mile, Sort Centers, and Line Haul.
  • Own weekly and daily volume forecast accuracy by integrating inputs from Fulfillment Centers, promotional events, and seasonality patterns.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for volume forecast misses and deliver actionable remediation plans.
  • Manage volume allocation and distribution across delivery stations and service types to ensure optimal network balance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Labor Planning, Operations, and Network Design teams to align volume inputs with downstream capacity requirements.
  • Generate weekly performance reports and metrics for senior leadership review.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce manual forecasting time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience owning end-to-end program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge (e.g., pivot tables, complex lookups, nested formulas, and data cleansing).
  • Knowledge of general AI tools.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience specifically driving process improvement initiatives.
