Sr. Value Stream Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate process and packaging operations teams to ensure high-quality production in a safe workplace.
• Translate the plant Operational Master Plan (OMP) into value stream specific manufacturing goals and activities.
• Drive the implementation of Marzetti Operational Excellence (MOE) methodologies to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Serve as a member of the Plant Leadership Team to set strategic direction and prioritize resource allocation.
• Coach and assess shift supervisors to enhance leadership skills and operational expertise.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead Kaizen events or similar initiatives.
• Monitor and influence workflow to optimize resources, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and food safety.

Requirements

• 10 years of manufacturing and/or management experience.
• 4+ years of experience as an Assistant Plant Manager or Production Manager.
• Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
• Background in manufacturing methods, quality control, and process improvement programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and processes.
• Background in a food-related manufacturing industry.
• BA/BS degree in a related field.
