Sr Therapeutic Specialist - Rare Disease - Fresno Territory

Responsibilities

• Achieve coverage, frequency, and sales targets within the assigned Fresno Territory.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the territory, including target assignment and action planning.
• Act as a regional mentor and trainer to develop the skills of junior team members.
• Manage territory budgets for customer contacts, speaker events, and other external expenditures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, including Medical Science Liaisons, Marketing, and National Account Managers.
• Monitor sales progress through regular measurement and market analysis data interpretation.
• Represent the company at professional events to promote products and services.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 6-8 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare selling experience.
• At least 4 years of specialty sales experience.
• Must live within the Fresno Territory (covering Bakersfield, San Luis-Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Thousand Oaks).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful pharmaceutical or healthcare sales in highly competitive markets.
• Strong influencing, negotiating, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to discuss complex science and therapeutic protocols with medical experts.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Therapeutic Specialist.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
