Sr. Therapeutic Specialist, HIV Treatment

Responsibilities

• Represent Gilead's HIV treatment products to healthcare providers within the DC Metro territory (Northwest/Southwest DC and Northern VA).
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with healthcare practices through in-person meetings and account management.
• Deliver clinical updates, disease awareness information, and education on healthcare changes to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional field teams, including medical scientists and reimbursement managers, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Adhere to all corporate, PhRMA, and OIG compliance standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage administrative tasks including call reporting, expense submission, and territory budget management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with a BS/BA degree, OR 4+ years of experience with an MS/MA degree.
• Proven experience selling Buy and Bill products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area.
• Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience.
• Experience selling injectable, physician-administered products.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in specialty markets.
• Familiarity with the managed care landscape and its impact on business.
• Experience managing a multi-product portfolio.
