Sr. Therapeutic Specialist, HIV Treatment

Responsibilities

• Represent Gilead's HIV treatment products to healthcare providers within the Columbus territory to drive sales growth.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term strategic partnerships with healthcare practices and providers.
• Deliver clinical updates, disease awareness information, and complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional field teams, including medical scientists and reimbursement managers, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Adhere to all corporate, PhRMA, and OIG compliance standards and ethical guidelines.
• Manage administrative tasks including call reporting, expense submission, and territory budget management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience with a BS/BA degree, OR 4+ years of experience with an MS/MA degree.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory, including approximately 10-15% travel to West Virginia.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience.
• Experience selling "Buy and Bill" or injectable physician-administered products.
• Proven success in highly competitive specialty markets.
• Familiarity with the managed care landscape and its impact on business operations.
