Sr Therapeutic Specialist

Responsibilities

• Achieve coverage, frequency, and sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Serve as a technical expert on assigned products and therapeutic classes to educate and influence key physicians and community members.
• Act as a mentor for junior staff and fulfill regional training roles to develop team skills.
• Manage territory budgets for customer contacts, speaker events, and other external expenditures.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, National Account Managers, and Marketing on cross-functional projects.
• Proactively identify market issues and opportunities, presenting recommendations to management.
• Ensure all activities operate in strict compliance with commercial policies and applicable pharmaceutical laws and regulations.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 6+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
• 4+ years of specialty sales or specific therapeutic area experience.
• Mandatory achievement of country-specific pharmaceutical sales certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience specifically as a Therapeutic Specialist.
• Proven track record of success in highly competitive markets.
• Strong influencing, negotiating, and scientific communication skills.
