Sr. Test & Validation Engineer – HV safety

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and documentation of powertrain functionalities focused on High Voltage (HV) Safety
• Manage system integration and validation for HV powerup/down, pre-charge, active discharge, and insulation management
• Define test plans, generate test cases, and execute test reports at system and vehicle levels
• Support crash vehicle instrumentation, crash testing, and post-crash safety checks
• Coordinate test strategies with powertrain teams in Nanjing, China
• Perform failure analysis, issue tracking, and bugfix testing
• Implement electrical safety best practices, risk assessments, and lab/vehicle operation procedures
• Collaborate with component owners (Battery, E-Motor, Charger, etc.) and VCU software teams to define testing strategies

Requirements

• BA or Master engineering degree
• Expertise in High Voltage safety functions for electric vehicles
• Experience with powertrain system integration and validation
• Ability to work with diagnostic functionalities and fault management
