Sr. Test & Validation Engineer – HV-PM

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and documentation of High Voltage Power Management (HV-PM) powertrain functionalities
• Manage system integration and validation for HV powerup/down, Pre-Charge/Active Discharge, DCDC control, and Energy Management
• Define test plans according to function integration plans and vehicle milestones
• Generate test cases, execute tests, and produce reports based on functional requirements and safety goals
• Perform failure analysis, reporting, and tracking of issue resolution
• Collaborate with powertrain lab engineers to define configurations and automation for testing labs
• Work with component owners and VCU software teams to ensure maximum coverage via the V-model

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in the automotive industry
• 5+ years of experience in powertrain integration and test & validation for HEV, PHEV, or BEV
• Strong knowledge of electric vehicle functions (HV Power/Energy Management, HV Safety)
• Strong knowledge of electric vehicle architectures (HV and EE architecture)
• Proficiency in software tools such as CANoe and CANape/INCA
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment for LV and HV analog measurements
• BA or Master engineering degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in VCU, BMS, or Charger software & hardware development
• Experience with EV test benches (HIL, Labcar, PIL)
• Experience in EE integration, test & validation
• Experience in Functional Safety or Failure Mode Analysis
• Familiarity with international/national electrical safety standards
