Sr. Test & Validation Engineer – Charging

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and documentation of powertrain charging functionalities to ensure accuracy and quality
• Manage system integration and validation for AC and fast charging (modes 2, 3, and 4) across China, US, and Europe
• Define test plans, strategies, and test cases aligned with vehicle milestones and functional requirements
• Execute function release tests and documentation at system and vehicle levels
• Perform failure analysis, issue tracking, and bugfix testing
• Collaborate with lab engineers to define configurations and automation for component and vehicle testing
• Partner with component owners and software teams to ensure function maturity via the V-model

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in the automotive industry
• 5+ years of experience in powertrain integration and test & validation for HEV, PHEV, or BEV
• Strong knowledge of EV functions including Charging, Battery, and HV Safety
• Deep understanding of HV and EE architectures
• Proficiency with software tools such as CANoe and CANape/INCA
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment for LV and HV analog measurements
• BA or Master's degree in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in VCU, BMS, or Charger software and hardware development
• Experience with EV test benches (HIL, Labcar, PIL)
• Experience in EE integration, test & validation
• Knowledge of Functional Safety or Failure Mode Analysis
• Familiarity with international and national electrical safety standards
