Sr Test Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and maintain custom test stands and benches for electronic assemblies
• Configure and optimize test setups, including instrumentation and fixtures
• Integrate boundary scan techniques (XJTAG tools) for testing and debugging
• Support and improve functional testing processes
• Develop and optimize testing procedures for New Product Introduction (NPI) and released products (ISO 9100)
• Collaborate with design teams on Design for Testing (DfT) for PCBA
• Prepare SOW according to international standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in electronic board (PCBA) debugging
• Proven experience in test stand programming and setup (including XJTAG, NI Teststand, or NI LabVIEW)
• Strong knowledge of Design for Testing (DfT) principles and implementation
• Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium or Xpedition
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical documentation
• Italian citizenship is required due to regulations on secure information handling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) platforms, including bed-of-nails and flying probe technologies
• Basic knowledge of ICT (In-Circuit Test) systems
• Basic understanding of Python programming
