Sr. Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and control the settlement and presentation of monthly and annual tax returns (IVA, IIBB, SICORE, ARCIBA, IG, etc.) to ensure compliance with national, provincial, and municipal regulations.
• Perform analysis, reconciliation, and control of tax-related accounting accounts and balances.
• Manage and track tax credit balances (saldos a favor).
• Coordinate the copying of accounting and tax books.
• Interact with external accounting firms, auditors, and internal teams.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Monitor compliance with formal obligations before ARCA and provincial tax authorities, including DFE and other official communication channels.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and task automation.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting.
• Proven experience in tax settlement, specifically with IVA, IIBB, IG, and withholding/perception agents.
• Strong knowledge of Argentine tax legislation.
• Solid accounting skills, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and official tax authority applications/tools (ARCA, etc.).
• Analytical thinking and high attention to detail.
• Proactive, autonomous, and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Transfer Pricing.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
