Sr Systems Engineer Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the strategic vision for the Systems Engineering group
• Manage department resources across various programs and IR&D activities
• Ensure technical, cost, and schedule goals are met for all development efforts
• Provide technical leadership for digital and mixed-signal opportunities, including architecture and costing
• Drive the implementation of best practices for rapid design, development, integration, and verification
• Manage talent through recruitment, mentoring, training, and performance evaluations
• Establish budgets for labor, capital, and maintenance for the group
• Contribute to corporate technology roadmap definition and IRAD strategies
• Foster a culture of learning, empowerment, and collaboration across cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a manager or technical leader of a large program
• 5+ years of experience with requirements development and management (derivation/decomposition)
• 12+ years of experience in an engineering contributor role, specifically in RF or Systems Engineering
• Proven experience managing budget and schedule allocation for teams or large projects
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar field
• Experience in the defense industry designing Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
• Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
• Proficiency with MS Project, earned value management, and resource allocation
• Experience with RF component parameters (switches, amps, attenuators, etc.)
• Active DOD Secret Clearance
