Sr. Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with Space Systems and satellite systems Engineering Leadership to develop systems requirements and provide engineering solutions
• Provide end-to-end system support and assist in developing plans and tasks
• Modernize space and ground systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and support risk management processes
• Develop documents and briefings to communicate work status and brief government stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 9 years of experience
• Proven experience in Systems Engineering and understanding of engineering principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of satellite operations or similar complex systems
• Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

• Program Management experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in Server System Administration (Linux, Windows, Oracle/SQL Databases)
• Experience with Systems Integration and System/Software Testing in virtualized environments
• Detailed knowledge of Windows and Unix environments
• Security+ or another DoD 8570 approved certification
