Sr Systems Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end application packaging, modernization, and deployment processes across the enterprise environment
• Create, customize, and validate MSI, MSIX, APP-V, and Intunewin packages using tools like AdminStudio and Advanced Installer
• Analyze vendor installers (EXE/MSI) to determine appropriate packaging approaches and resolve complex dependency conflicts
• Publish and manage applications within SCCM/MECM, Intune, and Software Center
• Develop advanced automation workflows using PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch scripting
• Mentor team members and define enterprise packaging standards to drive quality improvements
• Validate application behavior and compatibility across Windows 10 and 11 operating systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent field
• 5 to 8 years of professional IT experience
• Deep expertise in MSI/MSIX/APP-V packaging and Windows Installer technology
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Strong experience with SCCM/MECM deployment workflows and Intune
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex packaging issues, DLL registrations, and registry modifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application virtualization and Intunewin packaging for Endpoint Manager
• Knowledge of enterprise GPOs and user profile impacts
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for software lifecycle management
