Sr. Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the systems development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, and production support.
• Develop, plan, and maintain software applications and systems to ensure business continuity.
• Design and maintain software, hardware, and network architectures and security operations.
• Define code specifications and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Mentor and teach less experienced engineers to support their professional development.
• Provide technical guidance, supervision, and subject matter expertise to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• 8 to 15 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more technical areas such as UNIX, Linux, Windows, Java, or Cobol.
• Experience with database systems including MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2/SQL.
• Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and system estimation skills.
• Strong ability to teach, coach, and mentor others.
