Sr. Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create, test, and support software applications for supply chain systems.
• Participate in design sessions with IT Architects to produce high- and low-level designs.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver new capabilities and provide mentorship.
• Troubleshoot problems effectively in both development and production environments.
• Review code and designs from other team members to ensure quality.
• Coordinate with product owners and business partners to gather and document requirements.
• Provide production support and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8-15 years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5-10 years of expertise in J2EE/Java development.
• Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, Informix, or SQL Server) and writing SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and Apache/Ignite technology.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Bash scripting and Linux system administration.
• Experience with search engines like Elasticsearch.
• Experience with messaging brokers such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ.
