Sr Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sales support for accounts and channels within the assigned territory
• Perform technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs for customers and partners
• Assist in the development of formal sales plans and technical proposals
• Lead Proof of Concept (POC) testing, RFP responses, and technical solution drafting
• Conduct internal training for sales/marketing teams and external training for channel partners
• Provide remote and on-site technical troubleshooting and support for key customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or equivalent
• 8+ years of related industry experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a pre-sales role
• Solid knowledge of Layer 4-7 protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS)
• Expertise in L2/L3 networking
• In-depth knowledge in areas such as Virtualization, Cloud-Native, Application Acceleration, DDoS mitigation, and Traffic Security
• Experience with Application Delivery Controllers, Enterprise Applications, or Network Security

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIP, F5, Palo Alto, or Fortinet)
• Scripting experience in Shell or TCL and Unix/Linux technical proficiency
• Experience with container orchestration solutions like Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Familiarity with Carrier Grade NAT (CGN), BGP/OSPF, or VMware/KVM environments
• Experience with competitor product lines such as F5, Citrix Netscaler, Radware, or Broadcom ProxySG
