Sr Systems and Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Windows Server hardware and software, Active Directory, O365, and VM technologies
• Provide backup support for network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/Wifi technologies
• Design, plan, implement, and test backup and DP/DR policies and procedures
• Maintain best practices security policies and enterprise architecture
• Participate in software deployment, server patching, and technology lifecycle planning
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and diagrams
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a System Administrator managing Windows Systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2012r2/2016
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and O365
• Experience installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Clustering
• Proficiency with enterprise virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerShell and scripting languages
• Microsoft or VMware certifications
• Solid networking experience
• SharePoint skills
