Sr. Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day infrastructure operations including data center maintenance, hardware, and operating systems
• Perform system builds, decommissions, and patching of OS, firmware, and BIOS
• Handle user and group management within LDAP and Windows Active Directory
• Maintain essential infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NTP, and monitoring tools
• Execute data center consolidation plans, including migrations and system tear-downs
• Provide 24x7 support and participate in occasional on-call rotations
• Develop documentation for standard operating procedures and assist less experienced team members

Requirements

• 4+ years of Linux/Unix (Solaris, AIX, etc.) administration experience
• 3+ years of Windows and Domain Administration (2003-2012 R2)
• 3+ years of experience with TCP/IP networking
• 3+ years of hardware management experience (HP, Dell, or Cisco UCS)
• 1-2 years of VMware or other virtualization experience
• 1-2 years of shell scripting experience (bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs and climb ladders as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Citrix administration experience
• 1-2 years of F5 load balancer administration experience
• 1-2 years of backup administration experience (Netbackup, Networker, or Bacula)
