Sr System Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Compose, build, and debug custom bench setups and measurement flows using lab equipment such as SMUs, oscilloscopes, and thermal hardware
• Perform thermal and mechanical stress characterization using bench stress platforms while monitoring electrical behavior
• Conduct precision temperature testing to enable power-temperature correlation and failure-onset analysis
• Develop Python, Verilog, and C/C++ based test programs to build targeted stress patterns and observability hooks
• Drive correlation of bench results with assembly, test, and system-level data using DOE-based studies
• Analyze MBIST signatures and electrical/thermal behavior to trace issues back to root causes in technology or packaging
• Lead failure-mode identification and statistical analysis to deliver evidence-backed recommendations for product mitigations

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• 8 years of experience (or a BS degree with 8 years of proven experience)
• Hands-on experience with silicon or package-level characterization and bench/ATE testing
• Strong understanding of electrical measurement techniques and lab instrumentation
• Proficiency in programming and data analysis using Python, JMP/JSL, or C/C++
• Proven understanding of statistics and experimental methods (DOE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with HBM, DRAM, or advanced memory products
• Experience running or analyzing MBIST-based testing and correlating to silicon behavior
• Background in package product engineering, test solutions, or silicon characterization
• Familiarity with thermal and mechanical modeling concepts
