Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead failure analysis for electronics component defects, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
• Manage and improve supplier quality performance, specifically during new product development phases
• Conduct on-site supplier visits to perform root cause analysis and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions
• Perform comprehensive process and system audits for component suppliers to mitigate potential risks
• Promote and implement continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, Six-Sigma, and FMEA

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering or quality experience within the PCB or PCBA industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using PDCA and DMAIC methodologies
• Proven experience in component supplier system audits and process audits
• Proficiency in quality tools including PFMEA, SPC, and GR&R
• Fluency in both English and Chinese with effective communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently for business and job assignments
