Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives to achieve world-class quality levels
• Develop and implement supplier quality strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct supplier audits to assess capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issue recurrence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve supply chain issues
• Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to ensure alignment with quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (STEM)
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies
• Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Six Sigma certification or deep knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
• Proven experience leading supplier performance improvement initiatives
• Strong project management, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Expertise in conducting supplier audits and performing root cause analysis
