Sr. Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for complex building and infrastructure projects
• Ensure all designs comply with local UAE building codes and international engineering standards
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize solutions
• Conduct detailed structural analysis and provide technical recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee the preparation of shop drawings and approve structural details
• Support project planning and provide technical input during the execution phase
• Prepare technical reports and maintain comprehensive documentation for design approvals
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in structural design and coordination within contracting or consultancy firms
• Proficiency in structural analysis software including ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Revit
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and international engineering standards
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills
