Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager, Vehicle Systems Architecture

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level technical vision and architectural strategy into actionable program plans
• Drive definition, prioritization, and maintenance of the vehicle technical roadmap
• Create and manage the integrated master plan for all key vehicle system deliverables
• Act as a technical liaison between Rivian, Volkswagen Group, and industry partners
• Establish processes and communication channels to boost execution efficiency
• Identify and manage vehicle-level technical risks, dependencies, and program trade-offs

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of Technical Program Management experience shipping complex hardware/software/mechanical products
• Experience leading real-time, safety-critical embedded systems from concept to production
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and bridging Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex system architectures (automotive, autonomous driving, robotics, etc.)
• Background as a software or hardware product development engineer
• Deep understanding of embedded software architectures for RTOS
• Familiarity with safety-critical standards such as ISO 26262
